History

Canada’s first subway, the Yonge subway, opened in 1954 with a length of 7.4 kilometres . The line ran under or parallel to Yonge Street between Eglinton Avenue and Union station.

Schedule

The Toronto Subway works from 6:00 till 01:30; week-end from 9:00 till 01:30.
